Hand-crafted Arts and Crafts from Local Artists
Upper Creek Angler has donated a custom built fly rod. Winning bidders will consult with co-owner John Zimmerman on color schemes for wrapping the rod and will have the option to choose between an 8′ 5-weight fiberglass “Sundrop” colored rod or a slate black 9′ 5-weight medium fast graphite rod.

Artist Appraised Value: $150 Morganton Artist Michelle Rogers donated “Eagle in Nature.” A counted cross-stitch design representing Isaiah 40:31. This piece measures 15 5/8″ X 18″ in a honey frame, double matted in the colors pale mauve on top and sand on the bottom. Anti-glare and sun-fade preventive glass.

Spruce Pine Artist Anne Thayer donated this beautiful ovarian cancer color themed clay dish. The rich teal colors in this item remind us of the importance to spread ovarian cancer awareness.

Porcelain Figurines
The Greenwich Workshop Collection promoted these limited edition art works in porcelain from
artist James C. Christensen. Each piece is signed by the artist.
The trio was donated by the managers of The Pawn Outlet, Hendersonville, NC.

Designs by Barbara
Barbara’s signature pieces are the “Tree of Life” medallions. The medallion – Item # SA12 – is approximately 5″ in diameter on silver twisted non-tarnish artist’s wire with antique-colored gold bird charms on the tree “leaves.” The three other “Tree of Life” medallions pictured below are approximately 3″ in diameter. In her collective pieces of jewelry, Barbara uses semi-precious stones and/or glass beads including seed beads. Pieces pictured are either original designs by Barbara or by one of her associates.
Barbara donated a generous number of retired jewelry items after hearing about Casting for Hope through her sister, Debra, who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Barbara supports Casting for Hope to honor her sister.
