Meet Our Volunteers
We are excited to introduce you to our volunteers! They make Casting for Hope’s work possible. Our volunteers come to us from a wonderful range of ages, experiences, expertise, and passions–from professional fishing guides who teach our ladies how to fish in retreats, to gourmet cooks who prepare the menus, to high school students participating in service learning. They truly make our vision a reality! Check back often as we’ll be featuring different volunteers on an ongoing basis.
Meet Bridger
Bridger is one of Casting for Hope’s most loyal event volunteers. He serves as a guide for all of our patient and caregiver retreats; he’s a sector judge for our world-championship-modeled fly-fishing tournament; and in more recent days, Bridger has come on board the Casting for Hope team as the Executive Assistant for Administration in the Morganton office. In this capacity, Bridger works to keep the Morganton office running smoothly by organizing and capturing receipts, working on content ideas for our newsletters, maintaining Casting for Hope’s calendar schedule, and most recently, worked on a major (and deeply needed!) overhaul of our website. Thanks, Bridger!
